Water Rabbit, In and Down

We just came through the lunar new year, exiting the energy of "yang water tiger" and now begin a "yin water rabbit" year (in the Chinese timekeeping system I learned about from Daoist and Vajrayāna Buddhist teacher Liu Ming). Yin water is "triple yin" according to this system, giving the sense of "in and down." I'm feeling into grounding, refuge, humility, inwardness, receptivity, and safety as themes for the year. Tonight at Satsang, we talk about "in and down" as a guide for practice, and the attitudes and approaches this new year might inspire us to take.
