Death, Heaven, Cessation
The sangha beautifully held the meditation and check-ins while I was on the road coming back from a goodbye visit to my dad. While we were there, his priest came and did last rites. I got back in the middle of our gathering and reflected some on heaven, liberation, and the dialectic between engagement and cessation, or eros and thanatos.
