Āsāḷhā Pūjā 2567: Setting in Motion the Wheel of Dhamma

Blessings of "Dhamma Day," dear ones. This full moon holiday celebrates the Buddha's first discourse, "Setting in Motion the Wheel of the Dhamma" (Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta) at the Deer Park near Sarnath, to his five ascetic friends. We'll practice tonight with the pith instructions given in this most famous text, and endeavor to entrust the heart to the path leading to the end of dukkha. With such gratitude for all this Dhamma has brought into our lives. A beautiful practice today is to read the text aloud.
